The three costs in any restaurant POS
1. Monthly software
Watch for add-ons. Online ordering, kitchen screens, scheduling and payroll are often extra on other systems. With HubPlate they're part of the $99.
2. Card processing
Usually a percentage plus a few cents per card payment. Ask whether you're required to use the POS company's processing, and whether you can pass the fee to guests.
3. Hardware
Some systems require their own terminals, which can cost $1,000 or more. HubPlate runs on devices you own, plus a card reader and printer if you need them.
